Learn coding with JavaScript and Node.js from scratch
After an eventful summer, I was ready to pick up the project again. I have decided on an action plan and started to execute it. My goal was to keep building the blog and simultaneously work on a book that teaches JS and Node.js with practical examples. I have thought I might launch the book chapters as blog posts to keep an iterative approach.
It was summer after a long and hard winter due to COVID, and I remember not really having all that much motivation to work on this project. I was able to work on it from time to time, but it was moving really slowly. I also remember thinking about how Gatsby was incredibly convoluted, especially around the theming stuff. It wasn't the simple solution for building static pages anymore. I didn't have much momentum at this stage.

I started to build a blog using Gatsby to leverage it for an education product down the line. I didn't have a clear idea about what an end product would look like. I just knew a blog would be a useful first step. I made the initial commit for the blog on this date.
