Even tho I have not given much love to the project in the last year (even letting the products queue reach 0 during like 4 months 🤦♂️) the users kept signing up.
Recently I have decided to upgrade, refactor, and fix most of the issues and automate a bunch, so this post is to celebrate the milestone crossing of 3000 user signups! 🥳
It's been a long slog to get here, but Awesome Indie just passed 500 user signups! This has been the result of several efforts, including coding, social media marketing, and design.
Now I'm just hoping that some of them will be active on the platform🤞
Yesterday I launched Awesome Indie on Product Hunt and got the #1st Product of the Day award! Overall it resulted in like 9,000 pageviews and almost 300 new signups.
A lesson I've learned: refine your website before launching. There were several typos and errors on my site that I could've fixed beforehand if I had asked a few friends for their opinions.
I'm excited for what comes next!
