Crowdfunding platform for African content creator
We proven the market in our small country, with product market fit on 3 revenue streams : tipping, exclusive content, store for creators and more than 5k paying customers and 900 creators with country wide awareness. We got a fundraising, relocating the company to UAE and hired experienced developers to scale the platform. A full product team with designers, marketers to prepare for growth and conquering North Africa and middle east. We're now working 2 years full time on this project; really intense as usual for any founders; anxiety, anger and depression is part of the process. We'll keep you updated indiehackers on this journey we started 4 years ago.

We joined a startup accelerator, preparing fundraising and international expansion.
Objective for this year : 30k$ MRR ( X3 our current monthly revenue) monthly and a opening new country, we'll be back!
With our new feature that allows streamers to receive donations from their viewers, we're seeing enormous traction among Tunisian twitch and YouTube streamers.
at this time we have 3K users, 1.2k paying users, 200 creators on the platform and we're still growing on a day to day basis!

After 1 year and a half developing our MVP we finally launched and deployed the new version of our MVP.
Bakchich.me is the first crowdfunding and content monetization platform in Africa that helps youtubers, streamers, bloggers and all artists finance their media and art project.
The new version of the platform keeps all the positive aspects of the previous one while introducing new features that make the platform more attractive to content creators and backers alike.
A few numbers about our platform since its launch in 2020:

With the help of mo55ek 3ejja youtubers, website skyrocket as you will see in the Google Analytics screenshot. People are visiting, subscribing and making payments ! WIthout any effort from us !
We were stuck in about 60, and in 2 days we hit 212 users and 52 creators page. Bugs are starting to appears and we need to put more work ! But we're really happy !
Youtubers starts talking about the website, they present the service and their audience to take a look. I was asking them to publish the video since 2 month, the wait was worth as you'll see the visitor skyrocket (humm) another milestones coming soon as conversion are rocketing too !
We launched in late June. Friends and family started asking us what does it do. We began prospecting content creator to provide us feedback about the website. We're planning the work for the 3 months coming. Product Market Fit is our first goal, without paid ads, trying to speak with each user and even have a coffee with each of them.
Lockdown left us many time for working on it after dayjob at home :). We set our MVP and hoped to release for June.
Many problems, depressions, anxiety and anger after, we finally released the MVP and started contacting content creator and showing them demo of the website
