So the app is pretty much ready for Beta testing. I'm using Firebase to distribute to the few testers that have shown an interest.
One tester even paid for early access of £5 which is amazing. Just need to sort out a few tweaks and UX things and it should be good to go.
The add new diary entry has been designed and the bare bones functionality has been completed. Learn a lot about how the NativeScript UI works and teaching myself TypeScript which I haven't wanted to play with for a while.
Next step is to save the entry into the firebase datastore which shouldn't take too long (finders crossed)

Able to reset your password and manage your profile data once you have created an account.
The home screen shows your location, weather info for today and tomorrow along with sunrise and sunset times. I have mocked out display the last 5 fishing trip/diary entries so show how it could look once someone has recorded their past fishing trips.
