Banana Editor

Hey Indie Hackers!

I'm excited to share Banana Editor - an AI-powered image editing tool that lets anyone edit images using natural language.

The Problem

As a content creator/e-commerce operator, I kept running into the same frustrations:

• Photoshop is powerful but has a steep learning curve

• Simple edits (background replacement, color variations) take hours

• Every product reshoot costs time and money

• Iterations mean starting from scratch

The Solution

Banana Editor uses Gemini 3.0 Pro's granular inpainting technology. Instead of learning layers and masks, you just describe what you want:

"Replace background with modern office, keep natural lighting"
"Change clothing to formal wear, preserve facial features"
"Transform daytime to golden hour with warm tones"

How It Works

3 simple steps:

1. Upload your image

2. Describe the edit in plain English

3. Download the result

Key Features

• Natural language control - no technical skills needed

• Identity Lock tech - maintains facial features perfectly

• Batch processing - consistent styles across hundreds of images

• 100+ free credits for new users

Early Results

We launched quietly a few weeks ago and the response has been encouraging:

• E-commerce sellers using it for seasonal product backgrounds

• Social media managers repurposing content faster

• Designers using it for quick mockups before client meetings

What's Next

Working on:

• Multi-region editing with more precision

• Team collaboration features

• Video editing capabilities

• Brand style learning for consistency

What editing tasks would you automate if you could just describe them in English?
