Chase Bank PDF to QuickBooks converter for CPAs
Hey IH! 👋
I just launched Bank Parser - a Chase Bank PDF to QuickBooks converter for CPAs.
The Problem:
CPAs waste 45-60 minutes manually entering each Chase statement into QuickBooks. Why? Chase limits CSV downloads to 18 months. For historical data (5+ years), they manually type thousands
of transactions from PDFs.
My Solution:
Chase-specialized parser using pdfjs-dist (Mozilla PDF.js):
- 99% accuracy (vs 70% generic PDF converters)
- Converts PDF → QuickBooks-ready Excel in 5 seconds
- Supports all Chase formats (v1/v2/v3, 2015-2025)
- 16-field standardized format (IRS Schedule C compliant)
Tech Stack:
- Backend: Node.js + Express + TypeScript
- Parser: pdfjs-dist (structure-based format detection)
- Queue: Bull + Redis (async processing)
- Frontend: Next.js 15 + React 19
- Database: Supabase PostgreSQL
Current Status:
- Free trial: 200 operations (3-4 statements)
- Tested on 23 PDFs (1,123 transactions)
- Payment: Lemon Squeezy (pay-as-you-go, NO subscriptions)
Looking for feedback:
- Built for CPAs, not end consumers - is this niche too narrow?
- Should I expand to other banks or stay Chase-specialized?
- Any CPAs here who'd try it?

Happy to answer questions about the parsing challenges! 🚀
