Basketball Stats Assistant
Track, analyse and share your basketball stats like a pro
After several months of back and fourth changing the ASO, getting more and more users writing reviews ( I did not pay neither plan on paying for 5* reviews ) the app is Top 1 in several countries ( US, Australia, Spain, Argentina...) when looking for basketball stats keepers or trackers in Google Play.
After just a few days of releasing the app and organically I just got my first paying customer in Apple. There are a few hundred premium users already paying for the subscription in Android but for me this was a great milestone.
Being able to teach myself Swift and build the app up to the standards in an unknown platform has been a tremendous effort and this first subscription lighten up my day and the last tough pandemic months.
After creating the most rated and downloaded basketball stats keeper solution in the Android market, the biggest challenge was leaving my comfort zone and dealing with #Swift and #Xcode.
Hell yeah! But I did find a workaround, #KotlinMultiplatform and #SwiftUI came to the rescue.
I can proudly say almost a year later that I reached feature parity with the Android app and that Apple users can already enjoy tracking and analysing basketball stats in their iPhones and Ipads!
