As a startup, we have often had the privilege of getting deals on software subscriptions. We were building Beagle Security the last time we were part of Startup School. The discounts on various services helped us develop the product we have today.

Beagle Security got featured on the SaaSHub tribune.

We submitted on SaaSHub on December 2nd and got an email shortly afterwards conveying that the product will be featured on the SaaS tribune on December 20th.

We're covering all the launch platforms one by one to increase visibility for the product. The only downside about this time of the year is that it looks like most people are on vacation and we're not getting substantial traffic on the website.

I guess we have to resume promotion operations in January.

We launched beaglesecurity.com on Hacker News 3 days back and happened to feature on the Show HN front page for 2 days with 22 points. It resulted in 127 landing page views and 4 new sign-ups.

Overall, we expected a lot more traffic on our website from the launch but it just didn't happen.

Launching on Hacker News is always a hit or miss honestly. But considering the fact that a lot of products launch each day, we did okay. Could have been better but we can't really complain.

Moving onward to find the next few users!
