Beef Dashboard

The template has been moved from Digital Ocean to Heroku for several reasons two of which are:

1. To prove that the template works on different platform without code change just a nifty one-click deploy
2. Running it on hobby dyno does not cost anything.

But it's still lots of fun to work on!

We have learned so much along the way trying to make the dynamic meta-tagging work. After reading a lot of articles and listening to podcasts and videos, it seems the best course moving forward to push a dynamic meta-tag is by server-side rendering which will not be part of the package but rather a feature for another server-side project we're going to launch

The kiosk dashboard is up and ready, go have some fun and play with , it's mock up of a train ticketing system you see in different countries. So what's new? It is intuitive not intimidating, easy on the eyes, hard to make mistake, it gives user confidence to fulfill a process.

You have no idea how fun it is to write interactive UI widgets with Vue and Bulma. Gauging from the job market demand, it looks like ReactJS projects are burning like wildfires! Obscene pay offers, nerdy recruitment pitches to attract the best talents out there, it can be due to inflation, scarcity of talent(but no ReactJS talent is never too low) it was only overhyped and those who jumped in early thought it was a holy grail for front end development, apparently, now their projects are starting to burn money and their managers are trying to solve those with...money, that's what the sentiment is. However, I'm not here to advocate any coding "best practice" or project management "best practice". Just get things done.

Who doesn't know progress bars? Or never seen one? It's one of those widgets you look when waiting for something to get done or completed, you watch it and actually believed it is doing something. This project was mothballed for 16 months due to a lot of reasons such as pandemic, job layoffs, global financial crisis etc. even though things aren't looking rosy yet I decided to hit the defibrillator to jumpstart this project back.
