Hello IH 👋,

A small update of the ongoing work on bepo Agency.

As stated before, I believe that SEO will be a main area of revenue for this project, at least if I'm able to prove complete strangers that I am indeed worth spending money in.

I realised that a lot of questions we can find on Google are mainly people being lazy and not willing to spend time in the documentation to find out about a particular command inside a tool or something like that.
In effect, it's more or less what every developer do today: googling and hoping StackOverflow has the answer you're looking for.

As their might be much trafic to gain in this area, I've created RTFM, a serie of blog post designed to answer basic and common questions that have SEO potential.

We will see in a few months if this strategy proves successful or not 😄

A small update of the ongoing work on bepo Agency.

I think SEO performances are the heart of such agency businesses.
It's unlikely people are going to subscribe with their credit card unless they are really convinced of the benefits of using development subscriptions as a service instead of traditional hiring.

So far, I have:

• Added social network sharing (not directly linked to SEO, but sharing might provide some traffic which in returns helps the ranking, so indirect factor)
• Added indiehackers wrapper on our blog article when the original source is indiehackers (might create some backlinks back and forth)
• Added a product wrapper to link to our other products when the blog article is relevant
• Started working on JSON/ld values and OpenGraph info to make sure Google display the most relevant information to users

And obviously, I am preparing multiple articles, with a pace of 1 article a week up to now. I would like to favour quality over quantity and target the right keywords so I can propose the service to as much non-tech founders as possible and possibly tech founders open to work asynchronously.

SEO results take time so I'll post back as soon as I have some insight to share.

I've just launched an experiment with Social Media Ads on Instagram/Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

So far, results are inconclusive.
The idea was the following: invest a small amount of money (30 euros per channel) and try to generate leads to at least create a single conversion.
Expected ROI would be ~ 97.7% which would have been great 😄

So far, Twitter has generated thousands of visits in a day but no conversion nor booked call, so maybe the targeting is not right.
LinkedIn only generated one click and I feel the cost is really high for customer acquisition here.
Instagram was configured to generate impressions but it didn't generate any follows on my indiehacker profile.

For now, the conclusion is that LinkedIn is way too expensive with Ads and Twitter might be interesting if properly targeted.
