Verkabeln Sie das Geraet, wenn der Fernseher nah am Router steht. Ein Adapter fuer zehn Euro beseitigt mehr Aussetzer als jede Einstellung in der App.
Was Sie lassen sollten: drei Player zum Vergleich installieren. Sie streiten sich um denselben Speicher, und der Vergleich taugt nichts. Und urteilen Sie nicht nach dem ersten Abend: lassen Sie ein ganzes Wochenende unter echter Last vergehen.
DIE DREI FRAGEN VOR DEM KAUF

Diese Zahl ist aufgeblasen: derselbe Sender in mehreren Qualitaeten mehrfach gezaehlt, Regionalvarianten, die ausserhalb eines Bundeslandes keiner oeffnet, und Filmkataloge, die einzeln mitzaehlen. Rechnet man das heraus, bieten zwei Dienste mit achttausend und fuenfundzwanzigtausend Sendern oft genau dieselben brauchbaren Programme.
Erstellen Sie Ihre eigene Liste, bevor Sie sich ein Angebot ansehen: der Sport, den Sie verfolgen, der Nachrichtensender, der nebenher laeuft, die zwei oder drei Unterhaltungssender, die wirklich geoeffnet werden. Meist ein Dutzend Zeilen. Diese Namen pruefen Sie dann einzeln beim Anbieter — nicht die Kategorie, den genauen Sendernamen.
MEIN FAZIT NACH 6 MONATEN
Was ich wirklich geschaut habe: acht Sender von zwanzigtausend beworbenen. Der Rest wurde nicht ein einziges Mal geoeffnet.
