Track your iOS and macOS App Keyword Rankings from your Mac
I initially released the app with a self made App Icon. Today I released an update featuring a new App Store icon which was done by an expert. I like the new icon much more and hope everyone else will too.
You can check it out on the Website.
What do you think?
BTW: I renamed the App to Keewordz
I created a landing page, reserved a domain name (https://betterkeywords.app) and created the functionality for storing the entered email addresses. I'm quite happy with how fast I got it going and now the work will be to get people to leave their email on the landing page and see if there is interest in this product seeing the light of day.
So this will be the next step of garnering interest in the app even before it is available.

I created about 7 tweets about Better Keywords and the posts garnered way more interest than most of my previous posts. So I will take that as a positive outcome of posting about an even unfinished product. Next thing will be to create a landing page that people can subscribe on to get notified when the app goes live.

Today I tweeted a picture and some info about Better Keywords. This time I wanted to try get attention to it even before it was launched. I've seen so many posts from fellow IHs that try to generate interest in the products they create even before there is something to show. So with Better Keywords I try to do that as well. Let's see if this turns out to be a good thing. Here is the post:

I got the idea because the existing solutions that I found were not working for the Mac App Store or didn't seem to work good.
So I started out to see what I can gather for information via public APIs and see if I can create a solution that works better for myself.

I started to work on App Store Optimisation for my App Evolve Tracking Freelancer. I tried to use some of the existing SaaS solutions out there and found out that most of them actually do not support the Mac App Store.

Congratulations Anatol, it looks great. What drove you to change your logo? Did you receive feedback on your original logo, or was it something you personally felt was important?
Thank you! I always knew that the previous icon just didn't look professional, because I made it myself. So I decided to find someone who I would trust to be able to create a great looking App Store icon. And luckily I did! And it will definitely improve the first impression someone will have of the app.
