July 30, 2019 Launch day!

Today the App is ready for launching! Integrating the payment system took a few days of struggle but, finally, there's a way to get paid for the service. As of today, Bex has all the core features that provide values to me as a user. I am shifting gears to do more marketing and sales in the following days.

July 19, 2019 Deploy MVP

Today Bex feels more like a product than a widget. The previous version of Bex is simple: user can only write one document. The app benefitted from the simplicity that it doesn't need to handle too much application states and routing, but it didn't feel like the product that I would like to charge money for. This week I went over some iterations of the UI design and took ideas from some popular SAAS products on the market. Today Bex has a minimal application dashboard allows users to navigate between documents. Bex still lacks some functionalities for users to manage their own contents/documents, but I'm happy with the progress this week. Next week the focus is on integrating with payment services and furnishing up the dashboard.

July 15, 2019 Deploy (sort-of) MVP

I just delivered my MVP. It was the third week that I started this project. The quality of the MVP is as bad as it could get, and the features wasn't as ready as I wanted it to be. I almost felt shameful of letting my users see the product. But then I realized that there weren't any user at all.

July 1, 2019 Came up with the idea

It started with an app (https://coolmarkdowneditor.org) that helps me to write Markdown documents in the browser. Github or any other developer tools does this already. However, as a minimalist, I wish to use a simple editor that is just for writing Markdown. I don't want to spend time setting up my editor. I want to stay focus on writing down thoughts and ideas, so I created Bex.

The secondary idea is to promote the usage of Markdown format for any form of documentation or journal.

I like it, but why does your site lack a <title> tag?

Thanks for your interests! I'm a bit new to this, but I see the <title> tag under the <head>. Is this what you meant?
