The open-notification is the quietly smart part. Most contractors send a quote and then guess whether to nudge; knowing the client actually opened it turns a blind follow-up into a timed one, which is usually the difference between a reply and silence. The other hard part sits upstream of the product: getting in front of the contractor the week a job lands, not while they're shopping for software. That's the reach problem I keep working on with AppGild. Are early users coming from trade communities, or search?
Generating the proposal quickly is valuable, but I think the bigger opportunity is reducing the time between a client asking for a quote and making a decision.
