Birthbook

Improved the homepage with a quick get started guide and a new 2 column layout to use more the width of the webpage.

Today spent some time on improving social sharing. The website but also the birthday share link for others.

Hope this will improve the retaining customers.

After posting the new update I got a lot of feedback that I integrated to improve the design and user experience

I removed the required email field. Loads of customers just passed a temporary email or invalid email addresses.

Hopefully this will convert to more customers using the service

Today I made the website less busy and hopefully more clean for customers to use.

Working on retrieving the birthday directly from the website. Cutting out the email sending. And have less process for the customers, they can directly view there birthdays collected and add them to the calendar.

Today I sent out the first email containing the calendar ics files.

Did some analysis from website for SEO and applied some of the tips to improve the SEO of the website
