500%+ MoM growth for last 4 months for Bitcompare

Very happy to report that https://www.bitcompare.net has grown more than 500% MoM in the last four months.

What's even more interesting is that it seems to be accelerating. The last month has seen almost hockey stick growth.

It's hard to put my finger on exactly why, however, it's mostly down to focusing on good fundamentals that affect sustainable organic growth rather than buzzy short lived things.

This month we really doubled down on design, SEO and improving existing content.

Next month we'll be rolling out our API, automated email notifications and doubling down on our community.

Fingers crossed we can keep these growth rates up 🤞

Dean this is impressive ! How much did you invest in the website & idea until now ?

    1. 1

Almost no money. Some minor things like Google Gsuite etc.

Most things to date have just been free versions of everything. We're now having to slowly upgrade certain accounts.

It's really the cost of time. There's three of us working on it and we all have full time jobs. We're working early mornings, evenings and weekends. That's the biggest cost so far.

That is amazing. Nothing better than organic word of mouth growth. I think you built something that a lot of people have been seeking. You have one new sign up

looks amazing! Could you please highlight two things about how did you start that. 1) what was the first version of the website and 2) where did you get first users? Were users first or the product? thanks!
