Blastra
Software Listings Management Platform for B2B SaaS
I've been a B2B SaaS marketer for 10+ years. Always worked on a tight budget and always used Capterra, G2, and other software directories to get free exposure and quality inbound.
In my last startup, we had 6 or 8 customers when I posted us on Capterra, and I convinced 4 of them to give us reviews. It was enough to start getting leads from companies much larger than us, for some of them, we weren't even ready yet.
But that felt great and got us early business as well as some cool partnerships. At some point, I used a bulk-submission service that got us into 100+ directories for $300. That list included Product Hunt and some bizarre listings I had no idea existed. That gave us an initial boost, but then came a pain - we survived and evolved and changed the pricing, value proposition, updated the system... I was updating our listings on Capterra and G2, but as some point I remembered that I had a long tail of directories with outdated information. All those listings were opened with an email that the service provider created. Long story short - maintaining those listings was not possible.
The most annoying part was that the value from the major listings was obvious, and the presence paid off. Not sure about the smaller ones.
Anyways. I figured the process for SaaS is very much broken. On the other hand, I was familiar with listings managament services for local businesses - platforms like Yext and Uberall. They exist because a restaurant cannot update Google, Apple Maps, Facebook, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and whatever else every time they change hours or phone number. So someone built software to manage it.
And I looked at my own situation and thought: why is this normal for local businesses… but software companies are stuck doing it like cavemen.
We have plenty of directories. We rely on them. They influence how buyers evaluate us. And now, with AI, this presence becomes even more important, because directories are structured data sources. If your listing is messy, outdated, inconsistent, AI will just repeat the mess confidently.
So Blastra came from that moment. From the very basic reality that directory presence works, but managing it is broken. Blastra is our attempt to make this a real system: One place to manage how you show up.
A way to refresh pricing, positioning, features without losing your mind. A way to focus on a set of directories you can actually maintain, instead of pretending you can be everywhere forever.
About
Blastra exists in order to help B2B SaaS companies be found by people and AI. We do so by helping founders list their products on high-quality software directories and then keep managing their presence there with ease.
