Have just started taking on revenue and looking to bring two more customers from two different verticals into the fold. Now looking at expanding support, sales, help, client liason and a swag of new options for reporting, statistics etc., exciting times!!
I was accepted into StartMate's Open House for Blipp!! This is a great program designed to match founders with mentors that have tons of experience so you can get real-world advice. Today was the introduction session which features Zak Islam from Atlassian. Absolutely amazing session!
After a long hiatus, due to the beta company owner and tester being away on holidays for a month, we have been told that they are happy with the system and the third party integration into their line of business system thus making them and ready to allow more field staff a chance to test (break) the system!! This is awesome news!!! Time to update the website (still procrastinating)
As suggested by a customer we have created the ability to customize the look and feel of the email which gets sent to their customers for invoices and quotes. This gives our customers greater flexibility to brand the way they want, rather than use a stock-standard email.
We haven't forgotten to add our own "Powered by Blipp" icon at the bottom :)
Made some new exciting updates to the app for our customers. Firstly we have updated the job details to include technician notes. These will allow technicians to add some details to a job that don't appear on an invoice. Other changes include having a default central invoice and quote email address and some fixes to these when sending.
We have been working with the largest dishwasher repair company in Western Australia and they are finally transacting LIVE in the field!
They are only doing job transactions with one user at this point int ime, however, we believe they will be up and running within the next month.

The first beta product has been accepted in the iOS store! Althought the system is currntly closed to new customers and establishments we are super excited to direct our potential beta client to the iOS and Google Play stores now to play with their Alpha and Beta setups.
Perht Dishwashers have an existing live of business system that takes job and customer information and creates invoices which export to MYOB. They are after a solution which will allow them to still use their existing LOB system, but allow their field technicians to gain access to job information and generate invoices in the field.
We have created a Windows service on their primary server which will synchronize data between their LOB system and the Blipp APIs. this completed the transactional requirement and we will engage with them on field communication tests in the next couple of months

You are right. Sometimes we have to make short ads for daily use products just like I made one for dishwasher which is promoted on Dubai.
Although this has gone through many development cycles and development languages / environments over the years (and fathering two children later); I am happy to report that the actual concept and alpha development has been concluded using a mixture of Xamarin Forms, SQL Server and AWS!
This is an amazing product and I am very excited to move forward with this incredible concept
