    Wow, that was fast, man!
You already had users before your launch?
I just launched and I am struggling with traffic, didn't worried about this till now, silly me :P

    But great work man! Congratulations

Had around ~32 users before launching on PH. Upvoted you on PH - all the best!

August 7, 2019 500+ Installs

Hit 500+ installs in a week from being featured on Product Hunt for my Chrome Extension. People blog / talk about the Product Hunt effect and I can see it in person based on the Chrome Developer Dashboard.

It feels amazing. I feel empowered as a #indiehacker / maker.

P.S: Shakira's - Waka Waka playing in the background with slightly modified lyrics (This Time for #indiehacker)

July 28, 2019 Hit the front page on ProductHunt

If launching on ProductHunt wasn't exciting enough - it also hit the front page. This one is for the archives to keep. Look forward for more milestones.

Interesting to see how a small hack has takers. Amazed by the ProductHunt community to also share feedback.

July 27, 2019 Launched on ProductHunt

Stopped procrastinating and took the plunge to launch it on ProductHunt - https://www.producthunt.com/posts/block-website-notification-requests

With the growth browsers supporting notifications - almost every other website is trying to leverage it to grab the attention of users. I found it extremely annoying.

The setting to switch this off is buried in Chrome settings which I thought was tricky for users to find and disable. Hence, I published this one-click install extension to block all request notifications on the Chrome Store.

Finally - No more annoying website notification requests!

Why would you request for Camera, Microphone etc permission? Check - https://d.pr/i/il6uD4

      Not OP but:

"Settings that control websites' access to features such as..."

Looks like its not access to Camera etc but the browsers access settings, which are probably all included in the same scope. Unsure why it would need browsing history though.

        You are right :)

March 19, 2019 Finished MVP

It took 6 hours, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for Block Website Notification Requests. I worked overnight and published it to the Chrome Store.
