A little while ago we lamented about slow growth moving out of the MVP stage into a quiet market launch.
After a month of intensely marketing and networking we're excited to report that we blew past our target of 5 users and now 10 companies signed up totaling 16 users.
How'd we do it?
A combination of inbound marketing and networking.
We ramped up our blogging strategy, shared posts on Medium as well as here on Indie Hackers to increase traffic from October to November. Additionally, we began networking more intensely - attending small business events and meetups in the area to build our reputation and brand.
The end result is that we more than doubled our user base in the span of a month. Now, we still only have 1 paid user (formerly 1 of 4, now 1 of 10) so our next goal is actioning feedback and enhancing the paid platform so as to encourage users to upgrade.
