blogstatic
Blog and send newsletters.
I had initially hesitated to implement the Newsletter feature even though some of blogstatic's most valuable clients had asked for it. My idea was that it exists already through Mailchimp, Convertkit, et al. However, I didn't realize that users found them too complicated for what they needed them for. Eventually I decided to implement it and now users can send their posts as Email newsletters to their subscribers.
A few days after implementing Stripe, blogstatic got its first paying customer. It's been a few months coming and the choice was deliberate. The goal was to first create something of value and start charging once there was a good enough signal the customers would pay.

The challenge was to create a working product for less than 30-hours. Surprisingly, the challenge was met and I slowly pushed everything to production and announced it to my closest friends that it's Live. The announcement was made on Twitter and in a private Slack group.

I've been making CMS tools for clients since the dawn of time. I love writing and have always wanted to make a tool that makes it easy for anyone to create a good looking blog, especially for people who can't code.
