Hey hey hackers - launching www.blot.dev today!

It's an AI that runs meta ads for business owners. Specifically optimized for DTC eComm businesses, but can handle other businesses as well. It's pretty good so far - I'm running ads on it and having it advertise itself :D

Sharing a little of why this product, what this is, and obvious concerns about AI and ads.

Why: I previously founded 2 startups. I now understand building product is easy. Building has certainty, it just takes some discovering and time, and anyone can build a great product. Distribution is tough - it takes money, effort, creativity, lots of trial and lots of error - and if the market doesn't bite, then what? Because of that, I wanted to build something that helps with distribution. I want more founders to succeed. Because it's cool :)

What: It's full-stack meta ads AI agent. The landing page explains really well what it does. It researches, builds ads, runs campaigns, offers budget recommendations, and steps to take - all via chat. Saves your brand info, research competitor ads, generate strong ads, setup campaign for you in meta, analyzes your campaigns, suggests optimization actions, gets smarter over time as more context builds.

Concerns: Largest concern is whether AI is smart enough to handle ads. The answer is, YES. I've interviewed a lot of users, and most people's workflow in working with ads is "asking gpt or claude". When they run ads, they dump the data in gpt or claude and ask what to do. And they do it... even though gpt/claude has no context, and is generalized on industry. BLOT is specific to the user's data, website, and continues to learn over time. You can guess which one is better.
