Book Preflight
Your book deserves a proper flight plan
Most book-writing tools stop at the manuscript. But getting a book written is maybe 30% of the journey — the other 70% is everything that happens before the first word and after the last one: positioning, publishing decisions, metadata, pricing, distribution, marketing, and turning the book into actual business results.
I've authored or co-authored 18+ books, ghostwritten 10 more, and placed hundreds of authors with publishers including Bloomsbury, Pearson, and Taylor & Francis. The same problems show up every time: authors who finish a perfectly good book and then watch it disappear because nobody told them about BISAC categories, or retail pricing strategy, or how to build an audience before launch.
Book Preflight exists because the publishing industry gives authors a writing process but not a publishing process. It's a 133-step, 12-phase checklist that covers the full journey — from "should I even write this book" through to "is this book generating ROI." It's built for non-fiction business authors who are serious about what a book can do for their career or business, not just ticking a vanity box.
I built it because I was tired of watching smart people make expensive, avoidable mistakes — and because no tool existed that treated the full publishing journey as a system worth engineering properly.
