Booking & Appointment plugin for WooCommerce

It was in first half of 2013 that I was thinking what could be a good product idea. Being new into the field of WordPress & WooCommerce, I wasn't quite sure where to begin.

Then while browsing the WooCommerce website, I came across an ideas board. It would allow visitors to suggest new plugin ideas, features & also vote on the idea. That's where I discovered that a lot of people were asking for a Booking & Appointment solution with WooCommerce for a long time, but they still hadn't released the plugin & it wasn't looking like they would release it anytime soon.

Once I saw this opportunity, I didn't directly start building the plugin. I went onto the Elance (now Upwork) website & saw if there were any customers who were looking for a Booking or Appointment solution with WooCommerce. And to my surprise, there was 1 customer who was looking for a booking solution for their WooCommerce site.

We had just found a way to fund our initial development of v1.0 of the Booking & Appointment plugin for WooCommerce.
