After thinking long and hard about the future scalability problems with the first MVP version of the entire bookmark manager app, I decided to do a full rewrite!

Crazy I know!

But, after getting some wonderful early feedback from a few of the first dozen or so users (and tinkering around myself for a few months) I truly feel this work will be worth it.

This new rewrite sets a very strong foundation to build all the features and functionality Boomerang will one day have!

After nearly 2 months of small amounts of work, the Boomerang MVP is complete and live on boomerang.link

Since this is a side project, like many others, life kept slowing down the progress towards a working MVP.

The original goal was 2 weeks to complete the MVP, but that's life.

As part of a public, 2 week SaaS challenge, I decided I would start building Boomerang.link.

Reason:
As I browse around the internet, I often find tons of useful articles or videos. The number of open tabs on both my phone and computer build up. Rather quickly.

Often, I just do not have the mental bandwidth or time to fully understand/consume the content on the page. I want a way to remind myself to read it again later, when I have the headspace.

Idea:
Be able to save bookmarks into a single place. With the option to send them back to myself later. At a date/time I choose. Like a boomerang.
