A friend in our network introduced us to a startup he knew was working on a new mobile product and they wanted to launch it in a US store but all their designers and developers were from SEA so inevitable they weren't 100% sure that their design would fit USA standards. We introduced them to a designer that specializes on mobile app store reviews in the states and they were very happy with the result. Cross-cultural design problem solved!

After countless iterations with my co-founders and opinions from our connections we finally launched the first version of our product featuring 6 top designers. The most difficult part and the part we are most proud of is that we could bring all this talent on our platform.

While I was working on a side project I asked my very accomplished designer friend to tell me her opinion about my startup. I insisted on paying money to her but she wouldn't take it. Then I realized that I would gladly pay for someone working at a top level startup to quickly review my product without doing me a favor and without committing to doing much work. "I just want to pick your brain a bit and pay for it".
