Bowvie Weather

2019 has been a fun year, but Bowvie Weather never got the iOS app it needed last year. I am glad to announce today is the day!

A bit over a year ago the Android app got released. The iOS version that is being released today will also find it's way to Google Play soon as version 2.0. The app has been completely rebuild in Flutter! It's has been a fun ride and the more I worked with it, the more I began to love it. Flutter is a delight to work with. The last hurdle to overcome is migrating all current Android users to the Flutter app, which is almost complete.

Are you curious for either version? You can find them here: https://weather.bowvie.app/download

Thank you for your time.

If you got any feedback on the app you can always reach out to me in the comments or through the in app feedback button!

It's exactly one year ago that Bowvie Weather was launched into the Play Store. Since then a lot has happened!

A quick summary:

• Bowvie Weather got featured by:
  - XDA
  - DroidApp (multiple times)
  - A few small sites
• Grew from 0 to a few hundred users a day
• Recently received a new icon
• In the meantime also received a website (https://weather.bowvie.app)

Are you curious why? Download our app from Google play!

It's time to start 2020 with some fresh visuals and that's why starting today Bowvie Weather has a new logo.

But that's not all! While updating the logo we also put a freshly made website live. This one works better with dynamic content and also contains weather forecast data.

Became curious? Visit the website (https://weather.bowvie.app) or download the app!

As any self-respecting developer you need a product page for a launched product. Bowvie Weather is already live for a few months and acquired a few thousand unique users. So I thought this is the right time to start using this page.

Starting today I will also post important milestones in here.

This day marked the public beginning of Bowvie Weather. When version 1.0.0 went live there was no website (weather.bowvie.com), social media or other brand pages. Just an Android app in the Google Play Store.

Since this day Bowvie Weather has been featured on a few websites like:

• XDA developers
• Droidapp
• TuttoAndroid

Because of this the app is currently being used by a few hundred unique users a week. The first feature came out of nothing and Bowvie Weather is steadily growing since then.

The app changed a lot since the beginning because of feedback from users and I am still open for more feedback! Would you like to get in touch? Send me an e-mail at info@bowvie.com.

Hope you will also like Bowvie Weather!

Thank you for reading.
