I’m Nico, co-founder of BrainGrid. We’ve spent the last year building with AI coding tools and kept hitting the same wall:

AI coding tools are great at writing code, but they don’t help you think through an entire product.

Once you move beyond a single prompt, things get fragile.
- Features break.
- Context gets lost.
- Small changes cascade into bigger problems.

The issue isn’t model quality.
It’s the lack of product-level planning.

In traditional teams, product managers and tech leads help define scope, clarify edge cases, sequence work, and make sure the system holds together as it grows. In AI-native development, that role doesn’t exist.

So we built BrainGrid, an AI Product Planner for people building with AI coding tools.

BrainGrid helps builders:

• Think through a product end-to-end before writing code

• Turn ideas into clear specs and UX flows

• Ask the right clarifying questions up front

• Break work into structured, sequenced tasks

• Hand clean, well-scoped inputs to tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, and Lovable

The goal isn’t faster generation. It’s building software that stays reliable as it grows.

We’re starting with planning, but the bigger vision is helping non-technical founders go from idea → working AI SaaS → paying customers without constantly rebuilding from scratch.
