BrainSpacing
A productivity app, but for learning.
First version complete. The chrome extension largely behaves like the webapp with a few functionalities missing.Initial user testing done with feedback logged for the developer. The extension work will now be put on hold till all of the features of the web app is complete.
The algorithm on the web app is called Memorise. Its creator has made it open source to use. My development partner and I spent time with the spaced repetition algorithm creator to go over some further questions around the alogorithm, how it can be further optimized and how key metrics can be presented.
At the end of the discussion, we offered the creator access to the staging environment for him to provide feedback.

Getting BrainSpacing to an early Beta requires me to build out the product in 10 milestones. Through multiple delays, largely due to course changes on the front end, I'm please to say that I've now completed milestone 7.
Most of the core functionality of BrainSpacing has now been built. Items that remain are Dashboards for user analytics, optimising the Chrome plugin and getting the admin panel set up.

My development partner went over two very useful new features in the app. 1) the ability to create mindmaps in a seperate tab in the knowledge base and 2) an auto populated TOC that takes all of the headings in a document and automatically creates a TOC.

There's an overwhelming amount of information we all need to learn. In daily life, success will depend on how much knowledge we acquire and apply. There aren't many tools in the market that apply productivit to learning
