Braisd
Inexpensive, fast, green - groceries 🍒🥦🛒🏃♂️
Today we launched Braisd on Hacker News, Reddit and Joined IndieHackers! Here are three lessons I learned:
- Refine your website before launching. There were several typos and errors on my site that I could've fixed beforehand if I'd asked a few friends for their opinions.
- It is hard to get mods to accept you on reddit ... a lot of back and forwards.
- Don't pay attention to the haters. There will always be some negative commenters. Ignore them, try not to take it personally, and focus on the positive.
I'm excited for what comes next!
It took 2-3 months, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for Braisd. I worked mostly nights and weekends, and I coded the whole thing in Python since that's that I'm the most comfortable with. In hindsight, there were a few features I built that probably could've waited until later. But I'm excited to start talking to customers and see what they think about the product so far!

At first, we realized that during these times, every single expense kept going down ... besides food and real estate.
We couldn't fix real estate, so we focused on food 🙃 We wanted to offer a different solution to people that waste too much money at the grocery, food delivery or ''ready-to-be cooked" boxes
