Buddy

I prepared all the necessary resources and copy for App Store with some help from a designer I hired on Fiverr.

I also created the Facebook page that I'm about to use as my only (to keep it simple) social media channel and the way to contact customers at the beginning.

I worked on the project on mornings, evenings and weekends and it took about 1.5 months to complete the MVP. I focused on iOS app first and it was also the chance to learn SwiftUI for me.

I managed to implements custom algorithms that would take care of keeping items in the right order and tracking products I buy on a regular basis to show them as suggestions later.

I already could have started using the app myself then and preparing for release on App Store.

I was using just my notes app for shopping list, but it wasn't handy at all:

• I found myself constantly trying to keep products in the right order to make sure I pick them up in the store in the right order too
• I kept many "checked" products on the list as a reminder to buy them again in the future (and it got cluttered over time)

So I've decided to create a simple app that would focus on solving just the two above: keeping products in the right order and suggesting products that I buy regularly.
