February 9, 2026 Just launched BudgetPal AI — looking for feedback

Hey Indie Hackers 👋

I just launched BudgetPal AI, a small project I built to make budgeting and bill tracking less stressful. I kept losing track of bills and subscriptions across different apps, so I wanted one clear place to see what’s due, what’s paid, and what’s coming up next.

It’s still early, and I’m building this in public. I’d love any feedback — especially what feels confusing, missing, or unnecessary.

App is live here: https://app.budgetpal.knailab.com

Thanks for checking it out 🙏

    Congrats on the launch 👏
Curious — did you validate demand before building, or was this more of a personal pain project first?
I’m currently testing an Android app and struggling with how early to focus on monetization vs. UX polish.

    Hey Jonathan,

The idea of using AI to turn messy financial data into smart insights resonates well with anyone who’s struggled with budgeting.

Right now the messaging communicates control over money, but it doesn’t immediately communicate the measurable outcome (avoiding overspend, forecasting cash flow, or saving money) that most users decide on in the first few seconds.

Most founders try to tweak copy incrementally, but the real lift comes from structuring the hero and value bullets around specific user gain -> trust -> CTA promise.

I can walk you through a focused messaging & conversion audit and lay out the first 3–5 changes that will help boost sign-ups and engagement, this is a paid review with clear deliverables.

Congratulations on your launch. It looks impressive! What channels are you exploring to attract early users?

About

BudgetPal AI started as a personal project to help me stay on top of bills and spending without spreadsheets. I’m building it in public and iterating based on what users actually need.
