BugFrog
Visual Bug Tracking straight from your Browser
It seems the investment in recoding the foundation of the entire application is paying off. Adding Asana was very straight forward and fairly easy.
So from now on bug reports can be sent directly to Asana!
Next up and requested from a lot of friendly beta user: Jira
It took a while to get another integration working. I rebuilt basically the complete foundation to make it more flexible and easier to add more integrations quicker - since every integration has its own requirements in terms of data and fields.
Next: Add some test users to try it out!

I decided to start early with something we all take care of way too late: Marketing.
So I integrated a blog section into the marketing site and I am committing myself to get started with writing - something I am not good at and I am not feeling comfortable doing.

I probably should have focused on other features, but many people I've spoken to mentioned they are not using chrome.
So, I decided to see how quickly I can pull this off and it was surprisingly easy.
I just submitted the firefox add-on!

It took way too long , but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for BugFrog. I worked mostly nights and weekends, and I coded the whole thing in Ruby on Rails since that's that I'm the most comfortable with.
In hindsight, there were a few features I built that probably could've waited until later. But I'm excited to start talking to customers and see what they think about the product so far!
Apart from the application in Ruby on Rails the extension for chrome is available in the store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/bugfrogio-visual-bug-repo/bicnajphmidibbdjpidienhainkhfklc/
Very excited about this!

So many years as a freelance UX guy I had to report bugs or sending screenshots to devs, PMs or designers.
As always I accomplished this the "normal" way:
- Take a screenshot using the shortcut (OsX): Shift, Command, and 3.
- Open the image to draw annotations on it
- Save it (again)
- Open up the tool we were using (Trello, Jira, Asana, etc)
- Upload the image
- Describe the issue
- Report the bug
Sadly I can't remember how I found one of the few solution out there to do this process straight inside the browser, but I was angry at myself not finding it earlier!
So I started researching. I found a couple of solutions, but every tool was missing something - at least for me.
I've read so many times that you should solve your own problem, so long story short: I am building https://www.bugfrog.io/

Sounds really great, congrats on the cool update!
Let me also share some of my recent findings, which I wish to know about much earlier:
