Just today I've deployed a completely new version of the directory of No-Code / AI App Builders - not only I fixed multiple bugs (yes, even with AI, it still requires a lot of time) but I delivered the really cool feature - reviews!

Also, we keep adding new tools for building apps. Now, we have already 40 app builders, and, honestly, almost out of ideas where to get more.
So, if you know a good no-code / ai app builder, or maybe you created one, please submit to our directory - it's totally free.

This number doesn't sound big, and it's not :-)))) but I just started.
It took a bit more time than I expected because every time I found a but to fix, or something that needs to be improved (still many other things wait because they are not urgent).

15 is a start. real question : what's the discovery angle ? if I land on buildbutton wanting to build a marketplace MVP, will the directory understand that intent and surface the right 3 tools, or do I have to scroll through all 15 ?

Yes, I'm going to introduce the "smart fuzzy" search exactly in this way - you describe what you want to build, how, other requirements in a plain English and the system makes internal search to show you the most relevant builders. Does it sound right?

The problem with niche directories isn't usually the quantity of listings but the speed at which a user can actually find a match for their specific stack. Starting small is actually a benefit because it allows for more curated tagging before the noise of hundreds of average tools takes over. Are you planning to categorize these based on the technical learning curve required or is the focus more on the specific output like mobile versus web?

Thanks for your question! We already categorize them, but didn't add all these categories in the search panel. But right now, you already can filter by:
category
min skill level
coding required
pricing
enterprise features
How does it sound?

That makes sense and starting with a curated list is actually better than a massive messy database.
Having those filters like skill level and coding requirements ready early on is a smart move because most people get stuck choosing between "no-code" and "low-code" options.
I’ve seen this work well while handling PR and media placements for brands where we look for specific technical differentiators to make a tool stand out.
Are you planning to add a "stack compatibility" filter later as you grow?

The review feature is a smart move because once directories start growing, users usually need more than discovery, they need trust and clarity to make decisions.
One thing I’d pay attention to though is how users move from:
“this looks interesting”
→ “I understand which builder is right for me”
→ “I’m confident enough to try it.”
With 40+ tools, the onboarding and comparison experience starts carrying a lot of the activation weight.
Really interesting direction overall. Happy to take a closer look at the onboarding and discovery flow if helpful.
