Buildyour.academy

Hey everyone, I'm launching my new project: Buildyour.academy.

I'm an indie hacker who was sick of two things in the EdTech space:

The Paywall Problem: Thousands of people want to learn high-demand skills but can't stomach the $500+ price tag for a course.

The Overwhelm Problem: The internet is full of amazing, free tutorials, but getting them into a structured, goal-oriented path is a nightmare.

My Solution: An AI-powered system that generates a personalized, 7-day learning path for any skill (from Python to Guitar), using only the best 100% free resources from across the web. The 7-day model is based on cognitive science to maximize retention and keep the commitment manageable.

Why Indie Hackers?

I believe the future of learning is free content paired with premium organization. I'm building this in public to prove that value doesn't always have to be locked behind a subscription.

My Goal for Day 1: Get my first 10 organic sign-ups from people who genuinely want to learn something new this week.

My Next Step (from my to-do list): I need to nail down the "Freemium" model. We offer unlimited free paths for a limited time, but the eventual monetization will be through an optional Premium tier for unlimited generations, no ads, and priority support. I'm now heads-down working on the copy and pricing psychology for that first upgrade page.

If you're a career changer, a curious hobbyist, or just someone who respects the free content creators, I'd love for you to check out the site and let me know what you think of your generated plan!
