BurnThrough
Personal Task Management
After a couple weekends of working on this side project, I started using it at my job for my daily development tasks, and so far it has successfully replaced google docs and managed to save me some time with the custom task editor I came up with. Now what I may need is the additional features such as knowing my weekly throughput, and a lot more polishing...
For the last 6 months or so I started using this simple system of writing down my tasks for the day and annotating the timestamp of completion just to keep track of my pace of working and also to have the side benefit of helping me keep focus on what I was currently working on.
A google docs file was what I used for that. It did the job fine but found that it was taking me a good portion of my day just to edit it, so I decided to make my own web app just for that!
Don't know where this will get me, but hopefully others find BurnThrough useful.

Making lists of tasks before coding always seem to help me focus. BT helps me do that while also providing useful features such as knowing my weekly throughput, keeping track of the burndown of several "task nodes", etc
