March 21, 2020 Bustl pricing is now live!

After deciding on an appropriate pricing model - we've updated our site and payment process to enable payments!

While it's not completely self-service just yet, it's good knowing the process is in place to allow us to receive payments and to help us validate the product further.

February 6, 2020 Reached 50 beta signups!

After polishing up the landing page a bit more, we reached 50 beta signups with little marketing. While we are a long way off our goals, the rate in which people are signing up is also drastically improving.

Next goal is to get to 100 and get feedback from the 50 so far. Baby steps.

January 12, 2020 text reminders - meeting initial product vision

We are coming to the end of a development cycle and beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The last remaining features are being implemented - namely scheduling creation/updates/deletion of cards for future date(s) - we are keen to finish up this cycle and focus on marketing.

Since our recent release, we've posted a new blog post to demonstrate how to schedule a (sms) message reminder:

The jigsaw pieces are starting to fall into place.

December 25, 2019 Project scheduling and task automation

Our latest release is quickly coming up and with it we have a number of updates!

  • UX
We have been hard at work reviewing and simplifying the usability and speed in which users can create projects. We have revised the pages to provide a consistent and simple view of Bustl

  • Projects
Projects have had some additional updates. In this release we've opened up the ability for the user to customise the task templates their projects as well as create project-schedules to automatically create your notes, events and tasks months in advance

Teams, task collaboration and sharing will be the focus of the next major release.

  • Task scheduling
Create a once off or recurring schedule to automatically create your text or email reminders, notes, tasks, files or anything else you need when you need it.

December 10, 2019 Added reminder/task/note/event scheduling

For a while Bustl has only focused on being a flexible platform to save different types of data but still required the user to manually create it.

With the scheduler, we can now schedule when you project tasks should be created! I'm finally able to focus on turning it into a better assistant for myself and others.

December 3, 2019 We've released our first update!

After the initial launch of our MVP, we have been hard at work fixing bugs and improving UI and UX based on the feedback we've been given to simplify the experience as much as possible. While we still have a while to go, we're happy with the progress we've made

What next?

As we come to the end of our first UX/UI revision, we're looking to knuckle down and start to delve deeper into the land of integrations and are looking to build out additional integrations with applications we use, like Jira, Confluence.

How you can help!

We are looking to simplify managing and delivering projects, no matter how big or small. If you have any apps or tasks you want to automate let us know so we can integrate and simplify your day!

November 9, 2019 Pivoting to help startups deliver agile projects

After some thought I realised how I can better help others using my experience delivering projects for "enterprise" customers. Most of my clients struggle to manage and implement agile projects, these companies have a lot of money and experience but still struggle.

I want to take my experience in helping deliver these projects to create a ready-made (project on rails) backlog of tasks and processes to help startups deliver their projects starting at the idea phase to the delivery.

October 23, 2019 Launched MVP

After spending a large portion of my weekends and whatever moment I could at night, I've released an MVP of my product. This is from finally learning how to say no to new features.

Now I just need to learn how to get new users, iterate and improve..
