This is my 6th launch on Product Hunt, the first Product Of The Day #1 I achieve! Font Pairings started as a side-project to share one of the tools that we continuously develop in our daily work, and I'm so pleased to see what it's turning out to be 🤩

As web & graphic designers, we always struggled to find the most-suited typography combinations for our projects, so we've been gathering a lot of sweet pairings that we saw in that process.
What to do with all of these useful combinations? We decided to prepare a tool to easily display and test the fonts in different web layouts from our collection of website templates. 🔨
And so Font Pairings was born, meaning to be a free tool to be easily used by any professional or amateur designer, because everybody needs the right font combination! 🧑🎨

It's gorgeous to see how a side-project that took a lot of our effort becomes a useful tool that people can freely use.
It's pretty cool to share those tools that sometimes we create to fulfill one specific need (choosing a good font matching i.e.). There's a lot of people round' the world having the same issues that you have, so why not share a solution? 💡

So, we're finally out!
TL;DR
We started this project as a means to visualize the font sets we were using on Freebies.ByPeople and other projects we are working on, but we figured others may find it useful as well so we've made it available to everyone :-)
Basically what this tool does is help cut the time you spend on typography research/testing with holy fire by making it easy to find good looking combinations of fonts to apply on a website - simply go to FontPairings.ByPeople, load a sample theme from the menu, and pick your poison: there's a listing of 100+ pre-made font combinations carefully selected by our in-house design ninjas, readily available at the sidebar so you can find the ideal match without too much of a hassle.
Among other great features in Font Pairings you'll find:
⚙️ Several website layout templates to see the font matchings according to your website's category
🔧 Premade font-pairings, chosen by our professional design ninjas - hop between font combinations easily, like a bunny. Bunnies hop. This metaphor works.
🔩 Test your titles & body text size separately - no awkward font sizes, promise.
🗜️ The test theme layouts are fully responsive, so test away on different device screens!

As you can tell a story, and based on this post you definitely can do this :)
You can tell what you're doing from tech side, what issues you're trying to overcome as Maker and this can be interesting and useful to the tech community.

After a little keyword research, also checking search engines results, we came to the nice idea of changing the current tool's name Font Matcher to Font Pairings.
So... Right now we're making all the changes in the site to make it cop with this new SEO "epiphany" 😌
🎉The good news is that the landing page for ByPeople Font Pairings (Official name!!!) is almost ready-for-the-ring and I'll be veeeery soon asking for your honest roasting and friendly feedback.

Well... That's my case, and the Font Matcher wouldn't be an exception of course 😛

This is cool! What would make it extremely cool is possiblity to replace image and move some elements a bit. Then any use can basically test idea for landing page with few clicks.

Yes, sure! I think that the most important is to generate organic engagement to motivate your user's community to start valuable discussions about your product during the launch day. Getting a good base of testers and users interested in giving you useful feedback is key!
How exactly did you get a good base of testers for your product?
Hey @tim103 sorry for the late reply. I was on a business trip. I usually find valuable testers by involving in communities like Facebook or Indie Hackers, chatting one-on-one with people who participate in forums or groups related to your product.
