Quality developer resumes in less than 5 minutes
With everything done and working the only thing left is the launch! So eagger to get to this moment. It looked like it was never going to arrive!
Launching first in Product Hunt (although I don't expect many users from there) and then onto some more especialized niches.
It has taken waaaaaay more time than I expected but I finally got it.
I shared it with a few friends and here at indiehackers to get some feedback on things that can get improved (I'm sure there is a ton).
My next focus is on preparing a great landing and make a big launch!
What do we have here? 2 posts for the price of one? can it be?... of course not.
I'm wearing the shame hat right now, I hoped to stick to the writing streak for a few weeks at least, but it couldn't be. On the plus side, the lack of writing was compensated with a ton of work, both on the product and on Real Life™️
Without further ado, here comes the update.

A few years ago, when I was designing full time, a developer friend came to asking for help with a job change. He was a great dev, but lacked any design skills, and needed some way to make a good looking Currículum, that way was me, his designer friend...
Fast forward to this year. I participated in a bootcamp for a few months, and when it finished suddenly there where 20 people needing CVs to land their first job.
Since the idea of having to manually design and tweak 20 separate CVs didn't sound much fun I decided I would develop a solution for it.
So here I present: https://bytevitae.com !
I will release the MVP in a few weeks, so if you want to hear about it as soon as it happens and possibly participate in the pre-release please subscribe.
Also Im trying to gather more info on how people are managing their CVs right now, so if you could fill in this form in about 3 mins it would help me a lot.

Thank you and hope you like it.

Spent some time investigating the viability of some coding part of the product. Everything seems alright so its time to get a landing going and attract some future users!

After so many years finally built the courage, left my previous company and dedicated myself full time to building bootstraped products.
A lot to learn in the marketing and backend development department, but its been years since I was so excited!

Good for you colega. Is there something specific that caused you to snap and go for it?

Kind off. It was more of a sum of things than a specific one.
But to put it short I had been growing a company I founded 5 years ago until recently, and I had a really unhealthy relationship with work. Eventually stress took a toll on me and I started to have physical and mental health issues. Took some time to rest and reflect and realized (thanks to a lot of help) that I was not happy at all and didn't enjoy it. I was exchanging health for a maybe possible very little chance of a big future exit.
I realized that, why fuck up my life in the present to maybe enjoy it in the future when I could enjoy it right now. And here I am, enjoying it more than ever :)

Good luck, mate! I never dared do this. Could have learned so much in the last decade if I did!

Providing feedback on the posts would be great!
Im trying to create the most value with them, so even if my products don't work out the experience will stay as a valuable resource for other people. So any feedback or things you would like to know about the process would be amazing :D

Lets face it, creating a CV and keeping it updated is a real pain. All my developer friends suffer the same. The process is a soul eating chore. ByteVitae makes the process easy, fast and the output great looking!
