April 9, 2023 End it all.

Over 2k MRR, all is well...but few things happened which made me take a complete 180 turn.
I am still not inspired by AI apps. Too many scams, too many copycats, too rushed development and my time is severly limited as I want to focus on my daughter and wife.

After reading a newsletter from Michael Flatrup and the book MAKE from Pieter Levels, I decided to follow my heart ❤️ Focus on a game I have brewing in my head for a while now.

It might not earn as much, but it will be earning a spot in my life.

March 25, 2023 MORE features it is!

I decided to give it my all, do another overhaul and improve the UI as much as I can. This is the latest version of the app available on the store. It has a very streamilined UX and clean UX which actually makes sense.

After the launch it dove way down to -%40 overall conversion rate, but after few fixes with the ASO and screenshots, it was back on track. 2K+ MRR! 💰

February 20, 2023 In it to "play" it

My app, even though not planned to be the flagship app which earns the most, somehow kept earning more and more, passing the 1k MRR. I decided to give a complete rehual but only UI, UX was keps the same.
Results? It went to 1.8k rather fast, kinda hittin the preverbial roof of that house I just built. I had a choice to add an extra floor (more features) or leave it as is.

January 25, 2023 Yikes

Damn ChatGPT. While my app was in review, chatGPT became insanely viral, and in a mater of one week, 10s of apps appeared that do the same thing my "not so popular app".

I was not expecting ANY trafic right now, and app was full of bugs, but suddenly i earned $500 in a week. Which meant I would really need to fix it soon and also add more features to the app.

I know, smallest voilin for the maker who refuses to earn money 🎻, but I am not inspired to work on this app 😅

January 15, 2023 Release Date!

App was released on the app store at a time when graphic Ai's were rulling it. I opted to focus on something not as popular and find a nice niche. I am using da-vinci model where users can send a prompt and get a "completion" back, which in a way might count as an answer, but is actually trying to complete the direction of your statement.

About

With the onslaught of AI apps I wanted to make something with a bit more flair and almost gamified experience. It is a simple wrapper around OpenAI API, nothing too fancy, it just looks kinda sweet :) At least I think so
