I've tried this and recorded a think out loud video while setting it up. Hope it's helpful: https://www.loom.com/share/807107a59c2744639a90cee9adc1bddd

Hi Eric, I really appreciate you taking the time to take a look at caddie! This really opened my eyes to all of the things I didn't consider while building it. I see caddie all day, every day, so a lot of things seem or feel obvious to me but your feedback made me realize that I should reconsider some of the flows.

Here are my notes from just the video you sent:

      • The "Did you mean to change this page" pop up is not in my control. I will however think about including some sort of mini-tutorial on my landing page to ensure users click "keep"
      • I will work on adding a logged out state with minimal features for users to test. The end goal is to have the user create an account and upgrade to Pro.
      • The "add a dashboard" page is a lot worse in light mode, will fix that ASAP
      • I noticed that you didn't try the "feed" dashboard and likely don't know what it looks like or what it does. I will update the chrome webstore page so that the first image shows multiple dashboards so you can see what it looks like at a quick glance
      • Fullscreen mode has been asked for a couple of times, I will probably implement this
      • You didn't click the yellow edit icon which allows you to customize if you want the clock to show seconds, configure the categories of images shown, and customize todoist (coming soon). You also didn't know that you could have multiple dashboards until you clicked around the interface. I should probably redesign some of this to be more intuitive and also include a short tutorial that explains the core concepts
      • The feedback button does not effect performance but I can see how it can be associated with Intercom or other slow chat widgets. I will move it and make it seem more embedded

Finally if you are interested in continuing to use caddie, feel free to DM me for a free PRO promo code for a year

P.S. Will give UXSwaps a try, such a great idea! Will especially want someone to take a fresh look when I implement these changes

This is awesome to hear and I'm happy it was valuable to you. Just keep in mind that this is only my viewpoint and when others try it out they will notice other things. The best way of going about it is usually to pick the top 3 things you can fix very easily. That is often stuff like changing the wording, the color, the images, or the position of things. And then let a new person do a think-out-loud test again. If you do this a couple of times, things get really good. And with a couple more tests you will notice more systemic and higher effort things that need changing (e.g. logged-out states etc.)
