Tinder for cancelling meetings
Hey IH,
A friend and I are hacking on a way to get more heads-down time by avoiding pointless meetings. My buddy Paulius and I worked on this (in-part) for years while at Loom.
SO MANY meetings could be be a Loom, an email, or simply been more efficient and effective.
If we save you even 1 hour of pointless meeting time in a month, you'll cover the cost of the tool 10-fold.
So we're building it.
Not yet ready to share all the details, but we've given a few people early access and learned a ton. Here's what I can share:
-
Nailing the onboarding is essential. This is a calendar-based tool so setting things up correctly is critically important. We're revamping the onboarding experience prior to launch.
-
Brand matters... and we're conflicted. We are in between two brands/tones/names. Let's call one "BRAND A" and the other "BRAND B." "A" is more opinionated and screams DEATH TO MEETINGS. "B" is more neutral as simply a calendar assistant. We're wrestling with the tradeoffs between the two.
If you have thoughts on (1) or (2), I'm here for it.
More specific q's for the community:
• What are the most delightful B2B onboarding experiences you've seen lately?
• What brands have felt especially opinionated / stood out to you and why? Liquid Death is one we go back to.
• What brands have felt especially neutral (not opinionated) and stand out to you? Why?
About
We're tired of pointless meetings.

I CANNOT STAND pointless meetings lol so many could be an email.
This is great. Excited to see what you two build!
Meetings suck. Most of what needs to be said/explained can be done via loom/videos. Be bold!
Nobody (except maybe project managers) is excited about more meetings so I'd take the Brand A route! Especially early on, having an opinion is probably more likely to spread the word.
Delightful B2B onboarding experience - probably Superhuman.
