Hi everyone! Long time lurker here...
Material math always seems to happen in a store parking lot — phone in one hand, cart in the other, trying to remember how many bags of concrete a slab actually needs. Most calculators online just give you a bare number and skip the stuff that trips people up: the waste factor, real product yields, and how a whole project fits together.
So I built CalcForeman (calcforeman.com) to answer the question that actually matters: "how much do I buy?"
What it does:

A cost layer where you enter your own local prices — nothing pre-priced or stale

It's a static site (Astro on Cloudflare), built solo, free, no signup, no paywall.
I'm pre-traffic and focused on getting it in front of people who'd actually use it. Two things I'd genuinely love from you:
Brutal feedback on the homepage or any calculator — what's confusing or missing?
If you've grown a content/calculator site: what moved the needle most early on?

One thing I'd be careful with:
The interesting question may not be what moves the needle most for traffic.
It may be what conclusion deserves confidence when traffic starts arriving.
Those sound similar, but they can lead to very different decisions about what gets expanded, what gets ignored, and what the site eventually becomes.
I wouldn't make that call too quickly from early signals.
