What's new in January?

We are super busy with many things at the moment. Our list of feature requests is getting bigger and bigger. So we decided again to set new priorities for the future.

Our customers ask for many things. Sometimes they are not really related to the direction we want to go, and we need to reject them.

In January, what's new in Calendesk?

  • We added support for multiple currencies. We support 26 currencies at the moment.
  • We added a way to specify a Google Calendar Id for users who are using multiple calendars.
  • We added a way to display a full availability of employees from the admin panel (before it was only available from the customer website/calendar).
  • We improved SMS sending - from now on we support special characters.
  • We implemented Google Captcha Enterprise for some endpoints to protect the application from bots.
-We added some website builder improvements. Our customers can quickly duplicate sections between subpages, which should help to build websites even faster.
  • We improved our iOS app for employees. We added support for various locations like Google Meet, Zoom and we have fixed many minor bugs there.
  • We fixed many minor bugs in the admin panel and customers' websites/calendars. We fixed some performance issues as well.

From the business:

  • We decided to stop offering free accounts for new customers. We can focus more on paying customers to solve their problems. Unfortunately, freemium users were too time-consuming and we felt we are not ready for this at the moment. We may bring it back in the future.
  • We started to offer an enterprise version for some customers. We are already talking to a few big customers interested in Calendesk.

Some numbers:

  • We had 3600 new visitors, we converted them to 156 signups, which converted to 19 new paying customers (signups => paying 12% conversion).
  • We have 842 registered customers. 60 are paying currently.
  • Our customers brought over 9800 users to the booking platform.
  • Current MRR at the end of the month: $1691
