Calipio

Calipio just passed 1600 signups! Since August we have had a constant stream of daily registrations, these have brought us to this point. This number is the result of a bunch of different traffic sources, including SaaS Mantra, review posts, webinars and youtube reviews.

We released the Calipio embeddable player. You can now easily embed your recordings on any website or blog. The embed code can be copied from your library or sharing page. The provided code snipped works with all website builders. https://calipio.com/app/play/d5GlUonF#N7rcXQy3

Based on all the wonderful and valuable feedback we received from the SaaS Mantra community we published a roadmap https://calipio.prodcamp.com/. The roadmap includes upcoming features and changes of Calipio. Moreover, we use is it to collect feature proposals from our customers as well as a voting tool for upcoming features.

We are more than glad to announce our cooperation with Saas Mantra! You can get a spectacular lifetime deal (no marriage, no prison) on Calipio for truly little money. The cooperation is highly professional and the SaaS Mantra team gives us a lot of support and feedback. https://saasmantra.com/deals/calipio

We launched Calipio on Producthunt and made it to the 6th position. We gained more than 200 upvotes and receive a lot of feedback. Some lessons we learned:

1. You should have user signup in place in order to keep your new users on your platform

2. Prepare a launch site and provide some special offer

3. Promote your launch

We finished building the minimum viable product for Calipio. You can now record you screen, microphone and webcam just by clicking a single button on https://calipio.com There is no possibility to signup, but you can pre-register with your e-mail. Recordings without pre-registration will be deleted after 14 days.

When sharing sensitive information via the cloud, strong security measures should be employed to ensure data integrity and data privacy. We worked on a whitepaper to provide a detailed technical description of the encryption system we implemented to protect customer data.

None of the other screen recorders provide this level of protection to it’s customers. Calipio is willing to go the extra mile by protecting customer data with end-to-end encryption while keeping user-friendliness high.
