July 27, 2026 Reminders that just work

Private-practice doctors already live in their calendar. Reminders are still a separate chore — typing WhatsApp messages by hand, forgetting, or using tools that force patients into another app.

CalRemind exists to close that gap: book the visit in Apple Calendar as usual, and the reminder leaves from the doctor’s work WhatsApp at the right time. No extra app for patients. Less chasing. More focus on the visit.

I’m building it because that workflow should be boring and reliable — not another dashboard doctors have to remember to open.

The interesting part is removing another tool from the patient workflow instead of adding one more thing doctors need to manage.

Small workflow improvements like this can have strong adoption when they fit into habits that already exist. Curious how you’re handling edge cases like reschedules or last-minute cancellations?

About

Doctors already book visits in the calendar — reminders still mean manual WhatsApp. CalRemind sends them from the work phone automatically, so patients need no new app.
