On July 9th, we were unexpectedly hunted on Product Hunt. Unfortunately, this did more harm than good as it took away all the planning we had made for our product launch. If there is a next time, we should launch at the earliest stage to avoid this happening.

Since having fixed most of the issues on the development-side, it's definitely time to focus on user-testing and product promotion and marketing, so this was a good step in the right direction and to hopefully push it as far as I can. From now on, I'm setting a new goal: every day I need to have more users and website visitors than the day before.

Before making our initial product launch, we thought it was most apt to create an 'upcoming' page as the platform was not yet ready for a major launch and I wanted to recruit early users to start building an audience.

From our very first protoype in February, we've now achieved 20 integrations on our chrome extension from flight bookings βοΈ like Skycanner to online groceries π½ like S-Group's Foodie to food delivery π platforms like Uber Eats!
Although a major achievement π, this is not to say we're stopping here π!

Later that day when I made my first pitch, I was given direct entrance into their accelerator π€ program 'Fortum Forward'. From that point, I've been given a myriad of opportunities from connections at companies such as Puro and Compensate π¬ , CX workshops π οΈ and a grant of β¬10,000 π΅.

When finding accelerators π€ online to provide support in building this platform (especially since I started developing it as a lone founder πΆ), I came across Fortum π³ in one of Junction's βοΈ Medium posts. From this point, I applied, provided several works and progress to date and was invited to pitch π¬ to a number of Fortum employees π₯.

Along with my brother, Nicolas, I created the very first prototype π¨βπ»οΈ of this concept at JunctionX Exeter βοΈ where we earned 1st Prize and a Β£1000 grant π΅ to develop this further π!
At this point, Carbonly was a very minimal product βͺwith one compatibility (Tesco π½) and limited smart feedback π.
