CareerMatch
Match your resume to jobs, find skill gaps, prepare.
One thing that frustrated me about resume reviews is that most advice is too generic.
You can have a well-written resume, good projects, and strong technical skills, but still miss a job because your resume doesn't clearly match the specific role you're applying for.
That's why I started building CareerMatch.
The idea is simple:
Resume + Job Description → Job Match → Skill Gaps → Resume Improvements → Interview Preparation
Instead of giving you only an ATS score, CareerMatch tries to answer:
Which skills from the job description are already on my resume?
Which important skills are missing?
Which keywords or experiences aren't being communicated clearly?
What parts of my resume could be stronger?
What interview questions should I prepare for this specific role?
Are there formatting issues that could affect ATS-style parsing?
I also wanted privacy to be a core part of the experience, so the analysis is designed to happen directly in the browser rather than requiring users to send their resume to a server.
I'm still improving the product, and that's actually what I'm most interested in right now.
If you were applying for a job today, what would you want a resume-to-job matching tool to tell you that existing resume checkers don't?
I'd really appreciate honest feedback — especially from people who have recently applied for internships or jobs.
