Carefully

After almost 3 years away from Carefully, I decided to pick it back up again and see if I could actually make it into something real. I developed the app in 2017 but never invested in building the community or the business so now I'm back to make it or break it.

With regular updates and Allison joining the team to help with the Social media manager and community builder. Now we have a presence on pinterest, twitter, instagram and facebook to start building our brand, voice, and following. We know facebook is where our core communities will come from but we are learning from different audiences and markets.

At the same time I was starting a new job, the development was complete and we were finally launching the app on the app store. Too bad I was busy learning about my new job, my new team, and my new company. No more time for Carefully for now, but i'm glad i did it and still believe its a great product. More to come.

Hosting a play date with Aidan and chatting with one of the mom's while wishing I was reading a book on the couch. If only I could tell her it was ok to go get a manicure while i watched the kids happily play on the living room floor. Much easier to build an app than tell people you just want a few minutes of peace and quiet, right?
