I just launched the first MVP of the web application live at https://caretakerdb.com. I will be sending registration codes to a handful of local users to begin using the platform.

It took a long time to get to this point, but after recently being laid off and attempting to pursue my passions, I made a lot happen. The biggest pain was moving the code from development to a pseudo-production server. Heroku was instrumental in having an easy to use pipeline for a MERN stack.

I realized that I wanted to work on a side project and had recently been updating an old web application I made in high school. While working on these bugs that had come up over the last several years, I realized that this product was way more useful than existing in private for one customer.

I decided to rebuild the application on modern platforms (React) and to release it to the world to help caretakers and property managers everywhere.
